National Ambulance Enhances Operational Readiness for Back-to-School Period
27 Aug 2026
As the new school year begins, National Ambulance has strengthened its operational readiness to support public safety during the busy back-to-school period. Measures include the dynamic deployment of ambulances along major roads and in areas surrounding schools, heightened readiness at the Ambulance Communications Centre, and ensuring that operational resources are maintained at full capacity. National Ambulance also continues to coordinate closely with strategic partners across the emergency response system to support an integrated and timely response when needed.
National Ambulance also reminds parents and students to prioritise safety by wearing seatbelts, using designated school drop-off areas, following school bus and pedestrian safety rules, getting adequate sleep, staying well hydrated, and calling 998 in the event of a medical emergency
